| (1) | Who is Prem Rawat? Born in India in 1957, Prem Rawat started speaking to audiences about inner peace at the age of three and gave his first published address when he was only four years old. At the age of eight, when his father, also a teacher of inner peace, passed away, he accepted the responsibility of bringing a message of peace to people all around the world. At the age of 13, he was invited to speak in London and Los Angeles. Since then, he has presented his message to more than 9 million people in over 250 cities and 50 countries. His message is made available in more than 88 countries via satellite broadcasts and is translated into over 60 languages. Maharaji recently answered this question by saying: "It is not just a question of a message, but actual experience.… I don't just come along and say, 'Everything is great.' I offer a practical way to be able to appreciate every breath.… My message is not just words. There is something more. There is an experience to be had, and I offer the know-how to do that." |

The dissemination of his message is entirely supported by voluntary contributions from those who appreciate what he has to say and what he offers, and from the sale of related materials. In the United States, thousands of contributors support his work through various nonprofit organizations. |

| (6) | What motivates Maharaji to dedicate so much of his life to spreading this message? He simply wishes to help as many people as possible find within themselves the peace and happiness that, he says, already lies within. He does not receive any financial compensation or remuneration for his appearances, from the sale of the materials created from his addresses, or from any of the organizations that promote his message. |

He usually travels 11 months of the year, responding to invitations to present his message to interested people and to provide inspiration and guidance to those who are practicing the techniques that he shows for finding peace within. He also spearheads significant humanitarian initiatives through The Prem Rawat Foundation. He sponsors free ophthalmology clinics organized by the Foundation and is launching a charitable outreach initiative in northeastern India which will provide 600 meals a day, every day, year round, to people most in need. He is also a licensed pilot and an accomplished composer of music, as well as a talented photographer and graphic artist. |

| (8) | Does he have a family? Yes. His wife and four adult children reside in California, where he also resides when he is not traveling. |

| (9) | How does he get around to all the events where he speaks? The organizations that sponsor the events lease an aircraft to transport him quickly and directly to the events. When possible, he pilots the aircraft himself.This provides him with the ability to reach destinations on all continents according to his demanding schedule. |
